Okla. Campus May Add Fire Training Center

The Northeast Technology Center in Pryor, Okla., is planning to add a fire-training center as part of its facilities upgrade. The center will serve departments in five counties, the Prior Daily Times reports.

The planned center will cover 10 acres and include specialized rescue, wall and roof training, and water rescue. There also will be burn pads, a burn tower and pressure-test tank.

“I think it’d be a great idea,” Pryor Fire Chief Tim Thompson told the paper.
