IAFC Foundation Announces Scholarship Winners

On Tuesday, The International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation announced 2004 scholarship award recipients. The Foundation administers a scholarship program that provides financial assistance -- ranging from $250 to $4,000 -- to emergency personnel for the study at college level.

2004 recipients are:

Richard L. Thomas, Rutland-Dundee Fire Protection District, Gilberts, Ill.

Lt. Charles F. Napp, Haltom Fire/Rescue, Saginaw, Texas

Cpt. David Swanson, Houston Fire Department, Conroe, Texas

Lt. Anthony Mikolich, Fire Department of New York, Medford, N.Y.

Bat. Chief Laurie Mooney, Longwood Fire Department of Florida, Casselberry, Fla.

AEMT-P Jennifer M. Romano, Taunton Fire Department Syracuse, N.Y.

Cpt. James A. Ramer, Goshen Fire Department, Goshen, Ind.

Shawn M. Benoit, East Hampton Volunteer Department, East Hampton, Conn.

Lee Buxton, Urbana Fire Rescue, Champaign, Ill.

Lt. Jeffrey P. Johnson, Lisle Woodridge Fire District, Plainfield, Ill.
