Chicago FD to Conduct High-Rise Life Safety Conference

The Chicago Fire Department will hold the High-Rise Life Safety Conference: Tranforming Policy, Leadership and Tactical Operations, Wednesday through Saturday, Aug. 17-20, at the Navy Pier, the department has announced.

The conference will provide "tested, hands-on information about high-rise preparedness and firefighting through interactive workshops" for fire chiefs/commissioners, EMS directors, company-level officers, firefighters, EMS chiefs, batallion/divison/district chiefs and emergency managers, special rescue teams, and building operators, managers and owners.
