EENET Schedule Changes Coming in 2004

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has announced that Emergency Education NETwork will be "retooled” in 2004. One of the first of many changes you'll see as the satellite training program run by the U.S. Fire Administration is integrated with the Department of Homeland Security will be changes in the January through March 2004 Schedule.  EENET will return to broadcasting every Wednesday from 2 p.m.  to 3 p.m. Eastern Time, and will also re-broadcast the afternoon program each evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate viewers unable to view the afternoon broadcasts.

There may be exceptions to this schedule for special programs, according to FEMA, but those subscribing to the e-mail list will still receive weekly updates with the changes.

This is the first of many changes that USFA will be making in the future to provide informative programming and new products. Check the EENET Web site for the updates or subscribe to the e-mail list serve.
