Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Unveils ONESuit Pro

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics unveiled the ONESuit Pro, a Level A, single-skin hazmat suit certified to two NFPA protective ensemble standards, said Matt Madeksza, general manager for the coated-fabrics business unit.

The ONESuit Pro is flame-resistant and certified to both NFPA 1991, Vapor-Protective Ensembles for Hazardous Materials Emergencies, and NFPA 1994, Protective Ensembles for First Responders to CBRN Terrorism Incidents. It weighs less than 10 pounds and is pliable. "It offers a single-suit, lightweight design while meeting all of the NFPA certifications," he said. "As far as we know, no other company can offer that."

ONESuit Pro features a seven-year shelf life, he said.
