Wahl Instruments is offering for rent its z30 and z50 series Heat Spy thermal-imaging cameras. Fire departments can evaluate a Heat Spy in their facility for seven days free of charge (the department does incur shipping charges). The unit comes pre-configured and ready to use straight out of the box. A $50 per day value, the seven-day free rental starts the day the unit is delivered. Departments also can rent wide angle or telephoto lenses for a nominal fee.
