American LaFrance LLC named Ron Stewart as its new chief financial officer.… Waterous recently made three organizational appointments in its fire pump/foam delivery group. Steve Toren was promoted to director of sales and marketing — worldwide. Gregg Geske who was promoted to CAFS/foam system sales manager—worldwide. Heinz Gee will oversee sales operations and work with all OEM's in North America as the new sales manager—United States and Canada.… Mary McGrath has joined Beverly Prior Architects as director of civic architecture. Beverly Prior specializes in the civic, justice and educational markets in California. McGrath was a former principal at RRM Design Group and leader of its public safety group. She is a published author of fire station design articles and has led fire station design training sessions.… Global Security Systems and 3n announced a partnership to integrate 3n's mass-notification solution with GSS's Alert FM, an FM-based digital alert and messaging system. The combination of these two technologies will provide state and local government agencies with a one-stop solution for their community emergency notification needs.… Emergency Services Interactive Systems said its new software, Coordinated NIMS Incident Planner, was used successfully at the July 10 Major League Baseball all-star game at San Francisco's AT&T Park. The software is designed to aid development of incident action plans that can be synchronized with those of multiple first-responder organizations. The local, state and federal agencies that participated had never worked together on an unified IAP.
