FireRescue GPO now is offering water tenders/tankers through Hughes Fire Apparatus, an authorized Pierce dealer. The tenders are available in both 2,100- and 3,000-gallon configurations. 

Hughes Fire Equipment, a Pierce authorized sales and service dealer, has been part of the fire apparatus sales and service business since 1979. Hughes has delivered hundreds of firefighting apparatus to over 230 emergency service organizations.

In response to requests by the fire service, FireRescue GPO sought the addition of water tenders to its discount portfolio. The use of cooperative purchasing when buying fire apparatus utilizes the competitive bid process that has already been completed through an RFP with the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Department. The departments save the time of completing the bid process themselves.
