EVTCC Introduces Foam Systems Exam

Fire apparatus technicians can certify their qualifications to work on foam systems by passing a new EVTCC exam.

The F-7 Foam Systems exam is now available and covers eductors, around-the-pump, direct-injection and balanced-proportioned foam injection systems, as well as compressed-air foam systems. A committee of industry experts, emergency vehicle technicians and manufacturers' representatives worked to develop the exam.

The learning objectives and a reference list for the new F-7 exam are available at www.evtcc.org or by calling 847-426-4075.
