FIRE CHIEF's 2008 Station Style Conference
In the past seven years since FIRE CHIEF’s Station Style Design Awards were introduced, interest in designing fire stations, sharing successful ideas and updates on station technology has far surpassed our expectations. As a result of the continuing success of FIRE CHIEF’s Station Style Design Awards program, FIRE CHIEF created the Station Style Conference.
Celebrating its third year, the Station Style Conference focuses on the changing role of fire stations and facilities for today’s emergency response agencies. Increasingly, all-hazards incidents, coordination of multiple-agency response and financial restrictions and/or increased environmental issues demand that chiefs and municipal leaders research the options before investing in a new facility.
Who attends the Station Style Conference?
The majority of the attendees are members of emergency service departments who are in charge of building or renovating a facility. Leaders interested in combined facilities for fire, EMS, police and municipal departments; city and county administrators responsible for budgeting or other financial issues; and architects that are planning to be involved with a growing fire, EMS, police department or district are all invited to attend.

• Operations-Based Designs
