Submit a proposal to participate as a presenter at the Fifth Annual Station Style Design Conference, which will be held April 10–13, 2010, in Kansas City.

The 2010 conference will focus on sustainable, renewable options for fire and public-safety facilities, as well offer seminars in the basics and needs of a profession that faces a multitude of challenges responding to any and all hazards.

The conference needs 30-, 45-, 60-minute presentations inclusive of a question-and-answer segment to fulfill the general- conference sessions. According to feedback from the 2009 Station Style Conference, attendees are specifically interested in presentations that involve the participation of end users (chiefs, officers, etc.), who have been through the design and construction of a public-safety facility.

Attendees also expressed interest in programs that fall under the following areas of interest:

  • Cost-effective sustainability
  • Site location and response times
  • Funding sources and budgets
  • Co-location of agencies
  • Construction materials, flooring, walls, HVAC, air quality, etc.

In your proposal, please include: company name, speaker(s) name(s), contact information, program title, program description, format of presentation, preferred amount of time and learning objectives.

Proposals for presentations must be e-mailed to Janet Wilmoth by Nov. 30.
