Video: Station Style Judges Share Renovated-Station Thoughts
FIRE CHIEF recently announced the winners of its 11th annual Station Style Fire Station Design Awards, a program that recognizes outstanding architecture and design in five categories: volunteer and combination departments, career departments, satellite stations, shared-facilities, and renovated fire stations. The winners were selected by four fire chiefs, one firefighter/architect and three architects.
Judges Paul Erickson and Ed Mishefske discuss how the panel selected the renovation category's gold- and silver-award recipients.
