Ohio Design Firm Relocates, Rebrands

CR architecture + design's headquarters project is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and the firm intends to pursue certification under the LEED Green Building Rating System.

CR architecture + design (formerly Cole + Russell Architects) has moved its headquarters to downtown Cincinnati.

The new space reflects the firm’s fresh new look and continued commitment to sustainability. The headquarters project is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and the firm intends to pursue certification under the LEED Green Building Rating System.

Daylight harvesting will allow for automatic dimming of overhead lighting in response to available daylight to create an even amount of light across the office. The use of room occupancy sensors also will create an energy savings. The layout and furniture systems selected will allow for 90% of occupied spaces to receive natural light and 90% of seated spaces to obtain outside views. The furniture and finishes also provide better indoor environmental quality due to the low emitting materials used. In addition, the construction waste management program has diverted 75% of construction waste from the landfill for recycling.
