FIRE CHIEF Announces 2011 Station Style Fire Station Design Award Winners

Gold, silver and bronze awards were announced in five categories: volunteer and combination departments, career departments, satellite stations, shared-facilities, and renovated fire stations.

FIRE CHIEF recently announced the winners of its 11th annual Station Style Fire Station Design Awards, a program that recognizes outstanding architecture and design from fire departments nationwide. Gold, silver and bronze awards were announced in five categories: volunteer and combination departments, career departments, satellite stations, shared-facilities, and renovated fire stations. All participating entries will be published in the November print edition.

The winners were selected by four fire chiefs, one firefighter/architect and three architects. The winning entries are as follows:
