The Milwaukee (Wis.) Fire Department is using Turning Technologies’ audience-response software in a public-education program dubbed "Project Staying Alive." The program teaches anger management and violence prevention to sixth graders. Firefighters conduct and a pre- and a post-test about violence with each student.
The program will have reached the 25,000 students, as of Jan. 15. Currently, there are 45 Milwaukee firefighters in the program.
