As part of Fire Prevention Month, the Belvedere (Del.) Fire Company invited the public to learn more about its fire and rescue equipment during a demonstration on Oct. 13. Responders showcased the Guardian, a mobile collapsed-building simulator that is capable of recreating more than 200 catastrophic scenarios likely to result from a terrorist attack, natural disaster or building collapse, according to the company.
