Niehoff Sponsors EVT of the Year Award
C.E. Niehoff, manufacturer of heavy-duty brushless alternators, are sponsoring the 2010 Emergency Vehicle Technician of the Year Award, presented by In Service. The award will be presented Aug. 25 in Chicago during the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ Emergency Vehicle Management Section Workshop.
“C.E. Niehoff & Co. has supported the training of emergency vehicle technicians and the certification program for many years,” Paul Cacciatore, the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, said. “A solid background of emergency vehicle electrical systems is essential for proper maintenance and problem troubleshooting which directly affects equipment readiness. It is fitting to acknowledge individuals for their accomplishments in this area and we are honored to sponsor the event.”
The deadline for nominations has been extended to July 20. Letters nominating technicians may be sent to janet@firechief.com.
