2003 Fire Station Design Awards are now open
The Station Style Fire Station Design Awards will recognize superlative work in three categories: career stations, volunteer stations and station renovation. This prestigious competition recognizes architects and fire departments for their great achievements in fire station construction and design.
If selected for publication, your successful fire station design will appear in our distinctive November issue and be seen by more than 52,000 fire chiefs, officers and manufacturers in the fire service market. The Station Style Awards issue will be a valuable guide to ideas and innovations for fire service executives.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be acknowledged as a leader in fire station architecture and receive national recognition for you, your firm and your client.
Entries will be accepted for career stations, volunteer stations and station renovation projects. The entry may reflect an entire fire station or a specialized part of the facility.
Projects must have been completed since January 2, 2001, or under contract for construction on or before September 1, 2003.
FIRE CHIEF received nearly 30 entries from across the United States for last year's competition for station design projects. To view the 2002 showcase winners, use the tabs at the top of each page. We hope that this collection of fire station designs will inspire you to enter your new or remodeled station and help those of you currently planning new construction.
