Reddish New Fire Chief in Woodland, Calif.
The Daily Demcrat reports that Tod Reddish will move from deputy fire chief to fire chief of the Woodland (Calif.) Fire Department on May 1. The 28-year veteran will replace Mike Cahill who is retiring after more than two years as chief.
Reddish was hired as deputy chief in December 2007 after spending time as a recruit training officer for Yuba Community College, assistant fire chief for the UC Davis (Calif.) Fire Department and a firefighter with Eureka (Calif.) Fire Department.
