Michigan Departments Take Crimson Apparatus Deliveries

Ypsilanti took delivery of a 2011 unit, while Hudson opted for a 2010.

The Ypsilanti (Mich.) Fire Department recently took delivery of a 2011 Crimson pumper. Built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis, the rig features a 360-hp Cummins ISC engine, 1,500-gpm Waterous pump, 750-gallon water tank and stainless-steel body.

Meanwhile, the Hudson (Mich.) Fire Department purchased a 2010 Crimson pumper. Also built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis, this unit is outfitted with a 360-hp Cummins ISC engine, 1,500-gpm Waterous pump, 1,000-gallon water tank, Foam Pro 2002 system and stainless-steel body.
