Chiefs Propose Paperless Reporting System to Cut Costs, Improve Mutual Aid

The Warren County (Ohio) Fire Chiefs Association has requested $150,000 from the county commissioners for a fire-based reporting system to be used by eight departments.

From the Middletown Journal: The Warren County (Ohio) Fire Chiefs Association has requested $150,000 from the county commissioners for a fire-based reporting system to be used by eight departments.

Mason Deputy Chief Craig Bryant told commissioners the paperless system would eliminate the need for multiple documents to be prepared for an EMS run, which could save up to two hours in a 24-hour EMS shift, letting each department handle more local runs and rely less on mutual aid.
