IAWF builds up Job Bank
In this world of global job possibilities, making that personal connection between employers and job-seekers can be a difficult task. To help, the International Association of Wildland Firefighters is now providing a new, online job "finding and advertising" service to the global fire, environmental and natural resources management communities.
The IAWF Job Bank can be found at our Web site under "Resources/Job Bank." This new service was constructed to help connect job-seekers with potential employers. You can use the links to guide you as you search for that special job, or you can open a personal jobseeker account, which allows you to post anonymous résumés online while viewing professional job opportunities from around the world. Job-seekers also can establish a personal job alert so they never miss a freshly posted opportunity.
Employers and recruiters now will have better access to our specialized business niche. Employers have the opportunity — once they have established an employer account in our online Career Center — to post their own job openings and select online résumés that they think are most promising.
At this time, the only language used within Job Bank is English, but other languages eventually will be available. We ask for your comments and suggestions as you tour and use this new tool.
