IAWF Board Welcomes Two
The IAWF Board of Directors is pleased to announce two new members who are occupying interim terms, replacing retired members. These individuals are Dr. Richard Thornton, deputy director of the Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre in East Melbourne, Australia, and Kris Johnson with the Government of the Northwest Territories, Environmental and Natural Resources, Forest Division in Fort Smith, Canada.
The IAWF Nomination Committee soon will be seeking candidates to replace members of the board who will be retiring at the end of their terms this year. Consider if you might want to apply for a three-year position on the IAWF Board of Directors, starting at the beginning of 2010. More information will be coming soon.
