American LaFrance offers service training for fire departments operating current-generation American LaFrance fire apparatus. Ambulance Service and Maintenance: Aug. 13-17, 27-31. Covers bloodborne pathogen procedures. Service and Maintenance: Sept. 10-14, 21-26. Covers maintenance procedures for pumps, alternators, transmissions and electronics. Pump Repair and Testing: Sept. 17-21. Covers maintenance

American LaFrance offers service training for fire departments operating current-generation American LaFrance fire apparatus.

Ambulance Service and Maintenance: Aug. 13-17, 27-31. Covers bloodborne pathogen procedures.

Service and Maintenance: Sept. 10-14, 21-26. Covers maintenance procedures for pumps, alternators, transmissions and electronics.

Pump Repair and Testing: Sept. 17-21. Covers maintenance and repair of pumps and transmissions, as well as the required NFPA service testing.

Aerial Devices: Sept. 24-28. Covers operation, maintenance, and adjustments as well as the inspection and service testing required by NFPA 1914.

Emergency One offers maintenance training at their facility in Ocala, Fla.

Electrical 2: Sept. 10-14. Reviews advanced electrical theory and troubleshooting of electronics in fire apparatus components.

Waterous Pump School: Sept. 24-28. Covers preventive maintenance and limited troubleshooting of Waterous pumps installed in E-One apparatus.

Industrial Truck Maintenance: Oct. 1-5. Familiarization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of firefighting systems.

Aerial 1: Oct. 15-19. Provides an introduction to hydraulic and electrical systems and components, with an emphasis on preventive maintenance.

Pierce Manufacturing has several service training classes scheduled this year. All classes are held in Appleton, Wis.:

SkyArm Maintenance: Aug. 9-10. Covers basic maintenance and repairs of SkyArm aerial equipment.

Husky Foam System Maintenance: Sept. 6-7. Covers basic repairs and maintenance of Husky foam systems.

All-Wheel Steer Maintenance: Oct. 11-12. Covers maintenance and repair of system components.
