Richard "Dick" Otte, fire rescue pioneer, died April 30 at the age of 69. Otte was an expert on rescue tools, serving as member of the NFPA committee on rescue tools and had been director of marketing with Power Hawk Rescue Systems

Richard "Dick" Otte died April 30 at the age of 69. Otte was an expert on rescue tools, serving as member of the NFPA committee on rescue tools and was director of marketing with Power Hawk Rescue Systems. A memorial service will be held at the Kennett Square (Penn.) Fire Department on Wednesday, May 17.
