Former Fitchburg Chief Dies Unexpectedly

Larry E. Huber, 50, of Cleveland, Wis., died unexpectedly on March 22 at his home.

Most recently Huber had been coordinator of fire & EMS service at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland. Prior to his job at LTC he was training commander for the City of Sheboygan Fire Department, and he was chief of the Fitchburg, Wis. Fire Department from 1983 until 1995. He also was a past president of the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association.

Surviving Chief Huber are his wife and two children.
