Corona Fire Department Gets New Chief

The Press-Enterprise reports that David Waltemeyer replaced Mike Warren as fire chief of the Corona (Calif.) Fire Department. Warren retired July 3 after 14 years as chief/director of emergency services. Waltemeyer is a 26-year veteran of the department. He told the paper that he hopes to be chief for the next five to 10 years, and will focus on Corona and its needs, as well as the needs of the fire department.
