NSEFO Seats Officers and Board

The National Society of Executive Fire Officers has announced the results of its biannual election of officers and board members. The election was held in Little Rock, Ark. in November at the NSEFO annual conference.

Officers elected include Fire Chief Robert McKibben of the City of Peoria (Ariz.) Fire Department, president; Fire Chief Bill Bingham of the Boynton Beach (Fla.) Fire Rescue Department, vice president; and Fire Chief Steve Moreno of the Tarpon Springs (Fla.) Fire Department, secretary-treasurer.

The NSEFO Board of Directors will be comprised of Fire Chief Harold Phillips of the Ridge Road (N.Y.) Fire District, Eastern Director; Assistant Fire Chief Timothy Curtis of the Beloit (Wis.) Fire Department, Great Lakes Director; Fire Chief Gary Curmode of Sedgwick Co. (Kan.) Fire District #1 Missouri Valley Director; Fire Chief James Trainor of the Meriden (Conn.) Fire Department, New England Director; Fire Chief Patrick Kelly, DeLand (Fla.) Fire Department, Southeastern Director; Assistant to the Fire Chief Brian Crawford of the Shreveport (La.) Fire Department, Southwestern Director; Deputy Fire Chief Phil Paige of the Vista (Calif.) Fire Department, Western Director; Fire Chief Don Oliver of Wilson (N.C.) Fire/Rescue Services, Director-at-Large; and Fire Chief Rhoda Mae Kerr of the Little Rock (Ark.) Fire Department, Past President.

NSEFO’s mission is to support the National Fire Academy and other federal fire programs, to provide opportunities for executive development, and to develop and support an executive fire officer networking system. Its 500 members are primarily chiefs and chief officers who are graduates or students of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program.
