Fire Chief Jack Parow to be IAFC Second VP

A subcommittee of the International Association of Fire Chiefs Elections Committee observed the election company's tabulation process on July 7, and has determined the unofficial results of this year's election.

Fire Chief Jack Parow, of the Chelmsford (Mass.) Fire Department, received the highest number of votes for the IAFC second vice president position. A total of 3,117 IAFC members voted to elect a new second vice president.

These results will not be made official until the Elections Committee meets at Fire-Rescue International in August to validate the results.
