FIRE CHIEF Receives Tribute at IAFC Forum

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of FIRE CHIEF magazine, the International Association of Fire Chiefs presented Editorial Director Janet Wilmoth with a plaque last month. The award was presented by IAFC President Chief Jim Harmes and First Vice President Chief Steve Westermann during the IAFC's Strategic Planning and Leadership Forum.

“On behalf of the current FIRE CHIEF staff and all the editors over the past 50 years, thank you for this recognition,” said Wilmoth. “Twenty years ago, Editor Bill Randleman told me this was the greatest industry to be part of, and he's still right today. Thank you very much."

The plaque reads “… in special recognition and sincere appreciation for 50 years of commitment and dedication to the fire and emergency service and for working together with the International Association of Fire Chiefs with integrity, passion and professionalism.”
