IAFC Forms Executive Director Search Committee

The International Association of Fire Chiefs has announced it has formed a search committee to identify candidates for the position of executive director of the IAFC. The search committee is made up of the members the IAFC executive committee plus additional individuals who have agreed to serve.

Those individuals serving on the search committee in addition to the executive committee members are Anthony Campisi, president of the IAFC Foundation and president/COO of Glatfelter Insurance Group; Steve Doyle, executive vice president of the Central Station Alarm Association; Fire Chief Mary Beth Michos of Prince William County (Va.) Fire and Rescue; and Chief Bruce Moeller of Sunrise (Fla.) Fire-Rescue.

The IAFC has contacted executive search firms with requests for proposals. Responses are due to IAFC President Chief Jim Harmes by Dec. 6, 2006.
