Brennan, Past Editor of Fire Engineering, Dies

Tom Brennan, a 35-plus–year veteran of the fire service and past editor of Fire Engineering magazine, died April 19 at the age of 66.

Brennan began a career with the Fire Department of New York in the early 1960s, retiring 20 years later as a captain and taking the position of editor with Fire Engineering in 1983. He left the magazine in 1990 to become chief of the Waterbury (Conn.) Fire Department, but he remained a regular contributor to the publication and served as a technical editor.
