National Guard Aids California Fire Crews

In the last two weeks, more than 680 square miles of land in California have been charred.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger ordered 200 guardsmen to report for fire training and will send them to the fireground this week. This marks the fist time since 1977 that California's National Guard has been sent to fight fires.
