Investigators look for the cause of a fire at the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) headquarters on April 3, 2008, at 7:30 a.m. According to the Associated Press,he fire was contained to a first floor room, and no injuries were reported among the 200 evacuated workers. An early report cites the cause as an electrical extension cord.
