Rosenbauer officially kicked off its cross-country Tech Drive 06 tour of apparatus at the FDIC show in Indianapolis. This year's tour, which showcases all-new apparatus with the latest high-tech features, includes a heavy rescue, a pumper with an aerial ladder and a rear-mount pumper.

The heavy rescue features a command center in the cab, rear traffic alert system, Safety Vision scene recording system, Rosenbauer EZ Climb ladder and swing-out tool board.

The pumper with aerial features a 1,250gpm midship pump with side-access top-mount pump panel, 60-foot aerial ladder, 500-gallon water tank, remote aerial controls and an elevated monitor that can be aimed above horizontal in the stowed position.

The rear-mount pumper has a Rosenbauer 1,250gpm pump, Rosenbauer foam system, Rosenbauer Logi-Color pump panel, air ride suspension, rear access ladder and Rosenbauer ladder rack.

All of the tour apparatus are built on Rosenbauer XLC chassis and equipped with anti-roll warning systems, LED lighting, yellow grab rails, and reflective chevron striping on the front and rear.
