Southwest EVT Conference to be Even Bigger

Organizers of the annual Southwest EVT Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, plan to offer up to 30 classes for mechanics and technicians this year.

The conference is scheduled for Feb. 26–March 2 at the Tarrant County College Fire Service Training Center. The center is one of the most modern and well-equipped fire service training facilities in the country and includes spacious classrooms, climate-controlled interior areas for students to gather between classes and its own fire station with apparatus.

This is the eighth year the conference has been co-sponsored by the Texas Association of EVT and the Oklahoma Association of EVT. Together the two groups have arranged an outstanding training event that is expected to include even more classes than any previous conference. The schedule of classes will be posted on the Web in the near future. A special EVTCC test site has been arranged for those who pre-register with EVTCC.

For more information contact Mark Brochtrup of the Texas Association of EVT at 972-462-5175 or go to www.taevt.org.
