Spartan Chassis Fire Truck Training Conference
Aug. 3-7, Lansing. Mich.
This is a very large, very comprehensive training conference that offers a wealth of classes for technicians, maintenance chiefs, and fire apparatus manufacturers. Pierce Chassis Electrical

An introductory class to the non-multiplex electrical system found on Pierce Quantum, Saber, and Arrow chassis. It covers wiring diagrams, battery charging system, power distribution system and various control systems.

NFPA 1901 Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus -- 2009 Edition

The requirements of the new NFPA 1901 standard take effect for all new apparatus orders signed on or after this date. Changes include requirements for vehicle data recorders, tire pressure monitors, chevron reflective striping and many other components, configurations and features.
