Raven Technology now offers its Blackbird generator in either an under-hood or new PTO-driven version.

The PTO-driven generator has a standard 1.25-inch diameter shaft to take power from the vehicle power takeoff. It produces 5kw of 120-volt power with a 60-cycle pure-sine waveform at any engine speed from 650rpm to 2,200rpm. According to the manufacturer, the PTO generator requires no significant maintenance and is priced well below hydraulic-driven generators of similar size.
