Pierce Plans to Drop Some Models

Pierce announced plans to phase out several of its current models over the next few months. This announcement follows the recent introduction of the new Velocity and Impel models at the IAFC Fire Rescue International Show in Dallas.

According to Ann Stawski, director - marketing and communications at Pierce Manufacturing, "The Saber, Lance, Dash and Enforcer will be replaced by the new Velocity and Impel chassis. We expect to have this changed over completely by FDIC 2007. These two new chassis, along with the Quantum, Arrow XT and Contender custom chassis, will all have 2007 engine availability."

Customers should contact their local Pierce distributors for more details on specific chassis, engine make, horsepower and optional equipment availability.
