Hopp Named Florida EVT of the Year

John Hopp, a fleet/fire technician at the Orlando International Airport, has been named Florida EVT of the Year.

Hopp holds master-level EVT certifications for fire apparatus and ARFF vehicles, as well as master-level ASE certification for autos and heavy trucks. He has worked at the airport for eight years.

In addition to his daily work, Hopp has been a member of the EVT Certification Validation Committee since 1999 and a member of the Florida Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians since 1995.
