FEMSA Announces Annual Survey

FEMSA Announces Annual Survey. Last year's survey focused on large-scale disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes and terrorist attacks. It drew responses from almost 900 participants in volunteer and career departments across the country

The Fire and Emergency Manufacturers and Services Association has announced its fourth annual State of the Fire Service Survey. Participants are eligible for a chance to win $5,000 worth of equipment for their department from any FEMSA member.

The purpose of the survey is to help FEMSA and its members better understand the issues facing the fire service. This year's survey focuses on FIRE grant programs and asks questions about individual departments and their views on these programs.

Last year's survey focused on large-scale disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes and terrorist attacks. It drew responses from almost 900 participants in volunteer and career departments across the country. The results of that survey are posted on the FEMSA Web site.

For more information or to participate in this year's survey, go to www.femsa.org/survey.
