ULSD Cold Start Additive Now Available

MidContinental Chemical Co. has introduced a line of ultra-low sulfur diesel additives that can help prevent fuel filter plugging in cold weather without raising the sulfur level of the fuel.

The new products include Cold Flo 6260, Cold Flo 6300 and Cold Flo 6400. They comply with the tough new requirements for ULSD fuels and are EPA registered. "Plus" versions of these additives contain de-icers that also help prevent the formation of ice crystals. All ULSD fuels have higher paraffin content than previous fuels and may be more susceptible to having wax crystals plug fuel filters during cold weather.
