Apparatus Rollover Kills Another Firefighter

A firefighter in New Mexico was killed when the apparatus he was operating drifted onto the shoulder of the road and rolled over.

According to the accident report, it appears that the driver overcorrected the steering in an attempt to bring the vehicle back onto the road, which caused the apparatus to roll. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected and killed.
