Near-Miss Reporting System Receives Grant

The International Association of Fire Chiefs received a $989,068 grand from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. This grant was awarded in the fire prevention and safety category and is intended to help IAFC manage and expand its National Fire Fighter Near-Miss Reporting System. The program is a voluntary firefighter safety data collection and resource site that has collected over 1,800 reports since its inception.
