Federal Response to Katrina Reviewed

The White House today released the Administration’s report and recommendations on the federal response to Hurricane Katrina.

The product of an extensive review led by the President's Homeland Security Advisor Fran Townsend, Federal Response to Hurricane Katrina: Lessons Learned identifies deficiencies in the federal government's response and presents recommendations for improving emergency preparedness and response at all levels of both the government and the private sector.
