The Clark County Fire Department serves the residents and visitors of southern Nevada, including the Las Vegas Strip and other parts of unincorporated Clark County in the Las Vegas valley. The department has 29 full-time fire stations and 13 rural stations. Five fire stations service the Las Vegas Strip Resort Corridor. CCFD serves more than 40 million visitors and 1 million residents.
The suppression division responds to more than 140,000 calls for assistance each year. In fact, the CCFD's headquarters firehouse is arguably the busiest in the nation.
The prevention division is works diligently to create the safest environment for residents and visitors alike. This division is charged with ensuring life safety protection in all the resorts and casinos along the Las Vegas Strip.
