The Woodlands Votes on Fire Station Designs

The Woodlands (Texas) Township Board of Directors will choose between two design concepts for The Woodlands Fire Department's new Central Fire Station at the board's next meeting.

Fire Chief Alan Benson said the two design schemes are similar, with the difference being in the roofing structure. The first design would feature a pitched roof covering some portions of the building, while the second would include a pitched roof over the entire facility.

The extra space designed as part of second design, Benson said, could allow for room for additional office space, storage or community rooms.
