Sacramento Orders 12 Medtec Ambulances

The Sacramento (Calif.) Metropolitan Fire District placed an order with Medtec Ambulance Corp. for 12 Medtec M168 Type III ambulances. Delivery is scheduled to begin in June.

The Sacramento (Calif.) Metropolitan Fire District placed an order with Medtec Ambulance Corp. for 12 Medtec M168 Type III ambulances. Delivery is scheduled to begin in June.

The Medtec ambulances will be stationed throughout the district to enhance emergency service to the communities throughout the region that Sacramento Metropolitan serves. All 12 units will be built on a cut-away chassis with a 159-inch wheelbase, 168-inch long body and 72-inches of floor to ceiling headroom for maximum interior space. The vehicles also feature a unique center console, ducted heating and air conditioning, one-piece compartment and entry doors, padded radius cabinet corners and recessed IV holders as well as a limited lifetime warranty on electrical systems.
