Pierce's Dash CF apparatus now is available with the Detroit Diesel DD13 big block engine and on a broader range of vehicle configurations — including tandem axle pumpers, tankers, rescues and command units.

The Dash CF apparatus features a tilting cab-forward design that repositions the engine rearward and down low between the frame rails, and an open interior configuration for improved visability.

The 2010 EPA compliant Detroit Diesel DD13 engine has demonstrated up to five percent better fuel economy than previous engines, while delivering up to 500 horsepower.
