NIOSH, OSHA Issue Oil-Spill Response Guidance

Recommendations will be updated as more information about exposures is collected and assessed in relationship to the incidence and prevalence of symptoms, illnesses and injuries.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration have issued interim guidance for protecting Deepwater Horizon response workers and volunteers.

Recommendations will be updated as more information about exposures is collected and assessed in relationship to the incidence and prevalence of symptoms, illnesses and injuries.
